In this session Michèle Matyn and Haseeb Ahmed focus on the primal origins of the wind. Matyn’s contribution builds on her exhibition Breathing holes at Muhka in 2017 in which she explores analogies of respiratory systems of humans and animals in natural forms, whilst considering objects and spaces as living entities. During the workshop we will look for and study local breathing holes both inside and outside Rib and discuss their role and function within Rib’s particular ecosystem.
